MOD Features
- VIP/Paid Features UnlockedVIP and paid features are unlocked, with no extra key or subscription needed.
- Ads / Update RemovedIn-app ads are removed, and so are the official update prompts. Instead, the app tells you when a new version of this build is available.
- Built-In Player — Lark Player OptionalOther SnapTube builds hand video and music playback to the separate Lark Player app. This one plays everything in its own built-in player, and still works with Lark Player if you already use it.
- All Notifications DisabledThe app's push notifications are switched off.
- Analytics / Crashlytics / Firebase DisabledGoogle Analytics, Crashlytics crash reports and Firebase tracking are disabled in this build.
Hands-On Test
What Works
- Played music and videos in the built-in player, including in the background.
- Downloaded videos in Fast (360p) and High Quality (720p), and audio as MP3 in Fast and Classic.
- Streamed and downloaded without signing in. Signing in with a YouTube account also worked and brings in that account’s saved videos and preferences.
- No ads or Lark Player prompts appeared, even when playing a whole song list.
- Lark Player is optional: install it for full-screen video, lyrics and sound settings, and local files will open in it.
Limits
- The built-in player can’t play video full-screen — that needs Lark Player.
- For the video we tested, the highest download option was 720p.
What Is SnapTube?
SnapTube is a video and music downloader for Android. You search or browse inside the app, then choose a format: video at several quality levels, or audio only as MP3. Downloads are saved to your phone for offline watching and listening, and the app includes a player for both, so it also works as a place to watch videos and play music.
How to Install
- Tap Download MOD APK above and pick a mirror.
- Open the downloaded
.apk. If your browser asks, allow installs from it. - Tap Install, then Open. If the official app or another MOD of it is installed, uninstall it first.

FAQ
Is SnapTube MOD APK safe to install?
We installed and ran this exact build (v7.68.1.76801201) on a Pixel 7 with Android 16 before publishing it. Uninstall the official SnapTube app first — the two are signed with different keys — and compare the file size on the download page with what you received.
What download quality can I choose?
For the video we tested, video came in Fast (360p) and High Quality (720p), and audio in Fast and Classic. Audio can also be saved as MP3.
Do I need Lark Player to play downloads?
No. The built-in player plays music and video, including in the background, and plays a whole song list without a Lark Player prompt. It can’t show video full-screen, though — for that, and for lyrics or sound settings, install Lark Player; local files will then open in it. By comparison, the official app pushes you to install Lark Player just to play downloads, and other modified builds we tried showed a Lark Player screen when playing a full list.
Do I need to sign in with a YouTube account?
No. Streaming and downloads worked without signing in. Signing in also worked in our test — do it if you want your account’s saved videos and preferences in the app.
How will I know when there’s a new version?
The app shows a notice when a new version of this build is out. Some updates may be required before you can keep using the app. New versions are also posted on this page.
Is SnapTube on Google Play?
No. SnapTube isn’t on Google Play, and its official website is region-restricted: in our test it wouldn’t open on Hong Kong, Japan or US connections, but it did on a Brazilian connection.
Why won't it install over the SnapTube I already have?
This build is signed differently from the official app and other builds, so Android won't install it on top of them. Uninstall the existing SnapTube first — that may remove its settings and download history.
