Hands-On Test
What Works
- Played songs and videos with no ads, including a 30-minute listening session.
- Picked a specific song to play, or shuffled the list.
- Skipped tracks as often as we liked, with no limit.
- Videos played full-screen.
- Showed lyrics for songs that have them.
- Sleep timer stopped playback at the set time.
- Everything worked without signing in.
Limits
- You can't sign in with a Google account, so your songs and playlists can't be backed up or carried over to another phone.
What Is Lark Player?
Lark Player is a music and video player for Android. It plays the audio and video files stored on your phone — songs you've downloaded or copied over — and organizes them by songs, albums, artists and folders, with playlists, lyrics, an equalizer, themes and a sleep timer. It's a player, not a streaming service: it doesn't come with a music catalog of its own.
How to Install

.apk. If your browser asks, allow installs from it. - Tap Install, then Open. If the official app or another MOD of it is installed, uninstall it first.

FAQ
Is Lark Player MOD APK safe to install?
We installed this exact build (v2026.15.6) on a Pixel 7 running Android 16 and played music and video with it before publishing. Remove the official Lark Player first, because the two are signed differently, and compare the downloaded file with the size on the download page.
Can Lark Player stream music?
No. It's a player for files already on your phone. Add songs or videos first — for example with a downloader like SnapTube — and Lark Player plays them.
Does it work with SnapTube?
Yes — they pair well. Download songs or videos with SnapTube, and when Lark Player is installed, SnapTube plays them in Lark Player by default, with lyrics, full-screen video and the sleep timer.
Can I choose which song plays?
Yes. Tap any song to play it, or turn on shuffle. There's no limit on skipping tracks.
Are there any ads?
None in our test, including over 30 minutes of continuous listening.
Do lyrics show for every song?
Only for songs that have lyrics available. Some tracks simply don't.
Can I back up my playlists?
No. This build doesn't let you sign in with a Google account, so playlists and your library stay on the phone and aren't backed up.
Do I need an account?
No — and you can't sign in either. Playback, lyrics and the sleep timer all work without one.
